Apache Tear is really a sub-group or type of obsidian; essentially the same stone, both made of volcanic glass and black in color. However, Apache Tears are black obsidian that formed by being thrown up into the air giving them a much less glassy & more rough appearance.
Apache Tears are a type of Black Obsidian but they have a more friendly vibration than some other types of Obsidian. They are not altered but are natural crystals that heal grief. They have a strong action to aid emotional healing and bring you comfort when grieving. Maybe it is they’re strange out-of-shape appearance that makes you feel comfortable with them. They are strong stones for grounding and protection, and aid you to clear negative emotions that may be holding you back. They are volcanic stones, that may be partly transparent.
Stones in the photo will be very similar but not necessarily identical. You will recieve one stone that will be intuitively chosen for you.
